Ice Out for Good January 11, 2026
On January 11, ESI hosted an Ice Out for Good protest at Franklin Park in Washington DC. Around 200 people showed up for a moment of silence and sign waving at 14th Ave NW and I St.
Some members of ESI also joined a group Queenstown on US 50 to sign wave near the outlet mall.

On Saturday, October 18, Eastern Shore Indivisible joined 7 million Americans to say: NO KINGS HERE!
In solidarity with national efforts to defend democracy, ESI partnered with the Democratic Club of Kent County, Citizens Connect, and Rock Hall Women for Democracy (RHW4D) to host a powerful event in Fountain Park, Chestertown, MD. Hundreds of patriotic Eastern Shore neighbors gathered to celebrate democratic values with inspiring speakers and a sign wave along Washington Avenue.
ESI co-founders Silvia Gonzalez Roman and Jen Gloede gave brief opening remarks before the featured speakers took the stage.

- Rosie Ramsey Granillio, Chestertown native, Central American solidarity activist, and co-founder of Eñe – the Hispanic Community Cultural Alliance for Kent County
ESI in Action
We hosted two tables at the event. ESI members were on hand to help register new voters. At our main table, we distributed pocket-sized U.S. Constitutions, Indivisible pins and stickers and offered attendees the chance to join our ESI mailing list.
To cap off the event, rally-goers lined Route 213 in a spirited sign wave, showing our community’s unity and resolve: No Kings Here!
